I am a Barnard College, Columbia University student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Behavior with a minor in Public Policy. My work centers on supporting disadvantaged populations through research, advocacy, and service, drawing on experience in nonprofit management, marketing, clinical care, and research. Currently, I am investigating sanitation, hygiene, and malnutrition in South Asia. My broader goal is to make scientific knowledge accessible to underserved communities and to engage meaningfully with those communities through direct care.

Sehat Kahani × American Pakistan Foundation · Sindh, Pakistan

Assessing Climate-Related WASH Vulnerabilities and Heat Exposure among Women of Reproductive Age in Sindh, Pakistan

A cross-sectional study assessing the combined impact of WASH vulnerabilities and heat exposure on women of reproductive age at Sehat Kahani's e-clinics across Sindh. Preliminary findings (n=121) reveal significant gaps in water filtration, menstrual hygiene management, and heatwave preparedness, with diarrheal disease prevalence at 50.4%. Analysis conducted with SPSS v31, NVivo v15, and qualitative matrixing. Findings will inform policy recommendations for WASH infrastructure and heat protection in Pakistan.
